After serving as a hearing officer at the Ohio Industrial Commission, Rebecca L. Wilkinson made the jump to private practice by joining Casper & Casper in October, 1989. Since then, she has concentrated on helping individuals who have been hurt at work. She feels legal representation is essential for most people with work related injuries so they are assured of getting the compensation and benefits to which they are eligible. She takes an active role in all aspects of their claim, whether it’s attending hearings, working to get treatment authorized and bills paid, or negotiating a full and final settlement.
As a child, Rebecca went with her parents when they met with an attorney to draft their wills. That attorney happened to be a woman, a true pioneer in the legal field. The interaction made a significant impact on Rebecca and from that point on, she was focused on becoming an attorney. Rebecca has always felt being an attorney was a near-perfect balance of independent employment, while working with and helping individuals.
Rebecca and her husband Jeffrey live in West Chester, Ohio. They have three grown children; one a teacher in Istanbul, Turkey; one a guide for an adventure tour company in California; and another who is an event planner in Washington, DC. In her time away from the office, Rebecca enjoys travelling, cooking and gardening.
